45th GLSHS Annual Member Meeting & Dinner

Shipwreck Society members are invited to the 45th GLSHS Annual meeting, where the business of the non-profit corporation will be conducted. This will include the membership voting to approve a potential slate of GLSHS Directors, as presented by the nominations committee. The event also provides a nice opportunity to see and hear firsthand, about new developments and projects that are occurring at the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum/Whitefish Point. A nice dinner will be provided, as will a program and new documentary release related to the 100th anniversary of the establishment of a USCG Motor Lifeboat Station at Whitefish Point. Finally, we’ll feature a program and music by Gordon Lightfoot Tribute artist Mike Fornes, that will tell of the fascinating story of Mr. Lightfoot’s writing of, and the first performance of the song, The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.

• Celebration of the 100th Anniversary of USCG Lifeboat Station at Whitefish Point, featuring a special release documentary and program presented by Bruce Lynn & Corey Adkins
• A musical tribute and the story behind Gordon Lightfoot’s ‘The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald’ featuring Mike Fornes
• Tickets are $25 per person
