The long-awaited Second Edition of The Legend Lives On has arrived.  This second edition features additional rare archival material and exclusive underwater images.  The authors are Bruce Lynn and Christopher Winters.

Five decades after the Edmund Fitzgerald vanished from the radar screen of the trailing steamer, Arthur M. Anderson, the Fitzgerald continues to inspire our capacity for wonder and grief.

As the “Pride of the American Side” slashed across Lake Superior that stormy November night in 1975, her veteran skipper reported some seemingly incidental topside damage and a “bad list.” At around 7:10 p.m., the Fitzgerald went missing without a distress call of any kind, there were no survivors.

Great Lakes photojournalist, Chris Winters and Executive Director of the Great Lakes Shipwreck Historical Society, Bruce Lynn, have assembled a comprehensive look at the working life and mysterious wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.

Released on November 9, 2025, this beautiful full color, hard cover edition book, features gold embossed 50th anniversary  Columbia Star emblem on its cover.  This is an Edmund Fitzgerald maritime masterpiece, you will want this second edition for your collection.
